Illinois had hoped after an open week and facing another struggling Big Ten

Illinois had hoped after an open week and facing another struggling Big Ten team that they would finally find a cure to end its losing streak, which was extended to five straight.

"We talked about how we can't beat ourselves," defensive end MichaelBuchanan said. "That's one of the things we continued to do today. It's like we're all kind of pressing too much and trying to do a little too much in our jobs."

The Illini scored on their opening drive with a 2-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase to Eddie Viliunas for a 7-0 lead. They took a 14-7 lead early in the second quarter with a 5-yard Scheelhaase touchdown run.

Company spokeswoman Rebecca Acevedo confirmed in emails Friday

TD Bank has begun notifying about 260,000 customers from Maine to Floridathat the company says may have been affected by a data breach.

Company spokeswoman Rebecca Acevedo confirmed in emails Friday to The Associated Press that unencrypted backup data tapes were misplaced in transport in March.

She said the tapes contained personal information, including account information and Social Security numbers, but the company is not aware of any misuse of customer information. Still, TD Bank has not ruled out the possibility and is monitoring the situation.

She said the company is sending letters to customers whose data was on the tapes, and is offering them free credit monitoring and identity theft protection.
